Welcome to Oakwood at The Nash

Oakwood at The Nash stands as a compelling choice for travelers seeking a genuine New York experience without the usual tourist trappings. Nestled at 222 E 39th St in Manhattan, this residence offers a harmonious blend of comfort, convenience, and community. With a solid 4.2-star rating, it strikes the right balance between quality and value.

The one-bedroom studio apartments impress with their spaciousness and modern amenities. Many guests note the convenience of kitchenettes, complete with refrigerators and gas stoves, enabling a home-like atmosphere. This feature resonates strongly with visitors who prefer to cook or enjoy a leisurely breakfast in their own space, heightening the sense of independence while away from home.

The rooftop lounge emerges as a standout offering, providing sweeping city views and a relaxing retreat after a day exploring the bustling streets nearby. Its presence is frequently praised for adding a touch of luxury to the stay without inflating costs.

Location plays a pivotal role here. Oakwood at The Nash is a mere stroll from Grand Central Station, making it a perfect base for exploring iconic landmarks such as the Empire State Building and Times Square. The surrounding neighborhood is vibrant yet residential, favored by young professionals and recent graduates. Guests delight in the abundant local bars and renowned Indian eateries, which enrich the stay with authentic New York flavors.

Practicality shines throughout the property. Free Wi-Fi and complimentary parking set it apart from many Manhattan accommodations. The inclusion of accessible facilities, kid-friendly services, and smoke-free policies enhance its appeal to a wide spectrum of guests. A gym and laundry area address everyday needs, rounding out the offering.

While the property’s staff receives consistent commendations for their helpfulness and professionalism, some reviews mention signs of aging in plumbing and heating, as well as soundproofing issues. These minor drawbacks are balanced by the overall cleanliness, quality of mattresses, and the competitive rates—particularly attractive for longer stays.

Oakwood at The Nash is more than just a lodging option; it’s an invitation to live like a local in one of the world’s most dynamic cities. Its combination of spacious apartments, community vibe, strategic location, and thoughtful amenities make it an excellent choice for tourists and business travelers alike who want to soak up Manhattan’s energy while enjoying the comforts of home.

Perfect place to stay for everyone, who want to stay in Manhattan and dont want to pay a lot of money. The rooms are really nice and clean. It's 10min. away from the Empire State building and 20min. from Times Square. The service is really good and there is also a Parking Area who is not so expensive as some other ones in New York.

Enjoyed the Hotel. Good idea to rent weekly or monthly rate. Reasonable rate. Every thing needed refrigerator. Gas stove. Coffee. I enjoyed the stay with my wife.

Excellent staff and great location. But the facility is now very tatty under a lick of paint. Showing its age though through poor plumbing, heating and sound proofing. Good mattress though

One of the best place in the middle of the big apple to discover this incredible city. We had a very nice and clean apartment with all commodities. Peoples in the lobby were nice and helpful.
